STARZ ACADEMY is open to ALL ATHLETES, girls and boys, 1st Grade to 8th Grade looking for an introduction to the wonderful sport of volleyball. 

Our STARZ ACADEMY program is perfect for beginners getting familiar with the sport for the first time and for seasoned players looking to continue to develop and improve their volleyball skills in a fun and competitive learning environment.

Practices are run by our Five Starz professional coaches and will include both skills instruction and scrimmage style play. STARZ ACADEMY is also a great opportunity for players to prepare for upcoming tryouts.

Starz Academy Sessions

Our Academy is divided into two sessions, tailored to different age groups:

Session 1: September 8 - October 27

  • Grades 1-4: Sundays, 9:00 - 10:30 AM
  • Grades 5-8: Sundays, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Cost: $160 for the 8-week session

Session 2: November 3 - December 15

  • Grades 1-4: Sundays, 9:00 - 10:30 AM
  • Grades 5-8: Sundays, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Cost: $150 for the 7-week session

All sessions are held at Emerson Junior High in the gym. We encourage early registration to secure your spot.

****YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN ACADEMY TO ADD YOUTH LEAGUE****

Academy Fall Youth League

For those interested in enhancing their volleyball experience, we offer the Academy Fall Youth League for an additional $100. This option includes:

  • An extra practice day each week (Weds 7-9 emerson)
  • A uniform shirt
  • The opportunity to participate in tournaments

Please note that there is a $25 fee for each tournament day your player attends. Tournaments are optional, and we will roster only 12 players per event to ensure equal playing time. Participation in tournaments is not mandatory, but it's a great way for players to gain experience in a competitive setting.

Parent Info Night

To help families get all the details and meet the coaches, we invite you to our FREE Parent Info Night on August 21 at 6:00 PM at West Manor Park. This event is open to all, and it’s a great chance for your child to play on a grass net while you get answers to any questions you might have.
