Indoor recreational volleyball for 5th - 8th grade boys and girls

This program is ideal for beginner to intermediate players interested in staying active and enjoying volleyball in a recreational setting. Purchase a 4-week pass to come as often as you would like or pay a $10 drop-in at the door. Each day will include a brief warm-up and skill review and then coaches will organize players into teams for scrimmage style play.

2025 Elite Volleyball Training Programs

Five Starz is excited to offer 2 concurrent training programs to help athletes prepare for tryouts and get a taste of Five Starz style training! Pick one or sign up for both! Players can come up to 4 days per week to optimize results.

4-Week Session

Dates: June 30 – July 24, 2025
Days: Monday – Thursday

• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Vertical Leap and Power Arm Swing Program (space limited)
• 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Volleyball Skills and Positional Training

Location: Emerson Junior High Gym, 2121 Calaveras Ave, Davis, CA 95616

Registration Options

• $400 for full program (vertical leap/arm swing AND volleyball skills)
• $200 for one session block only (vertical leap/arm swing OR volleyball skills)
• $25 per day drop-in rate

Vertical Leap and Power Arm Swing Program
Open to boys and girls with volleyball experience. This program is designed for athletes serious about training to jump higher and hit harder. Programming will include general and power strength training, arm swing mechanics and agility drills. Ideal for 12U and older players preparing for club, high school, or collegiate-level competition. Participants will train with standard weight lifting and Vertimax equipment. Space limited to 12 athletes.

Volleyball Skills and Positional Training
Open to boys and girls with volleyball experience. This program is designed for athletes serious about improving ball control and court movement with focused, high repetition drills. Ideal for 12U and older players preparing for club, high school, or collegiate-level competition. Based on enrollment, nets will be set at junior, women's and men's heights.

All Skill Levels Welcome! Join us for an exciting week of volleyball, where players of all skill levels can learn, improve, and have fun! Our experienced coaches will provide training on fundamental skills, game strategies, and teamwork in a supportive and engaging environment.

Camp Details:

• Dates: June 23–27, 2025

• Location: Emerson Junior High, Gym

• Who Can Attend? Boys and girls of all skill levels

Schedule:

• 13 & Under: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

• 14 and Over: 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Pricing:

• Full Week: $175

• Daily Drop-In: $50 per day

Cancellation & Refund Policy – Volleyball Summer Camp

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be fair while ensuring the camp runs smoothly. Please review our cancellation and refund guidelines below:

Cancellation by Participant

• Before May 31: Full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
• June 1 – June 16 (One Week Before Camp Start Date): 50% refund.
• After June 16: No refunds except for medical emergencies (doctor’s note required).
• No-Shows: No refunds will be issued.

Medical or Emergency Cancellations

• If a camper cannot attend due to injury or illness, a credit for a future camp session may be issued (valid for one year) upon receiving a doctor’s note.

Cancellation by Organizer

• If camp is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., low enrollment, facility closures, or safety concerns), participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session.
• If a session is interrupted due to weather or other unexpected events, we will do our best to reschedule, but refunds may not be available.

Transfer Policy

• Registration may be transferred to another camper (friend/sibling) if requested by June 16.
